American College is a leading higher education institution founded in 1975.
The College is located in the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. Cyprus is an island which lies at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa and is a member-state of the European Union. American College is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Cyprus.
The College is registered with the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth and it offers a wide range of accredited programs of study. Its programs are modelled on American and European higher education and are recognized both nationally and internationally. The vast majority of American College programs are offered in English language and the College hosts students from all over the world.
American College’s mission is to provide students with highly valued qualifications, skills and experiences that enable them to achieve their career goals and enrich their future lives. The flexibility and diversity of our study programs attract students of all ages, different backgrounds and from different countries.

American College has established and maintains academic partnerships with many universities in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, Canada and elsewhere, offering students diverse transfer opportunities for further study.
Our students can transfer to these universities to continue their undergraduate studies or to pursue graduate studies (Masters and PhDs). In addition, American College has the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and applies the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). These allow students, among other things, to participate in student mobility programs.
Our College has an extensive and growing list of European educational institutions where students can study for one or two semesters. Additionally, students from these institutions can study one or two semesters at an American college and receive full academic recognition.

Employers in Cyprus and abroad, are interested to employ American College graduates, for their academic abilities and professional skills.
